PUBG Mobile or BGMI is going to celebrate its fourth anniversary in the coming days. Ahead of the big event, the game will introduce the brand new 1.9.0 update. In this forthcoming update, the whole universe of PUBG Mobile or BGMI is expected to get an attractive makeover that includes new features, events, lucky draws, vehicles, guns, etc along with the game collaborating with new brands. In this PUBG Mobile or BGMI 1.9.0 update leaks article, we are going to discuss the list of features that the PUBG Mobile or BGMI 1.9.0 Update might feature when it releases.
PUBG Mobile or BGMI 1.9.0 update: Everything that might come in the game
Royale Pass M9 and M10
The current 1.8.0 version of PUBG Mobile is currently featuring Royale Pass M7: Royale Guard which will end on 15th February 2022. M8 will be the last Royale Pass of the 1.8.0 version starting in February. Next, the 1.9.0 version will start with C2S5 where Royale Pass M9 and M10 will be introduced.
The theme of these two passes is not revealed yet but players can expect some great outfits, skins, and other items as both of them will be under 1.9.0 update. Though the theme of those two Royale Passes is unknown, they might come as more colorful and outstanding looks. We all saw that the recent RP rewards are cool, so players can hope for the best outfits to come so far.
New Anniversary mode
Every year PUBG Mobile or BGMI introduces an anniversary mode where the maps get theme parks as a place to celebrate. As the game is approaching its fourth anniversary, we may see a similar map arrangement in the next update.
Although, this is not yet announced by the devs, by experiencing the last three anniversary events, it is for sure that the places will be hard-drops as they provide two or three times higher loots than normal locations does.
New Gun: Lynx AMR
LYNX AMR is a .50 cal sniper rifle and will be collectible via Air Drops. It will contain only 10 bullets and the damage of each will be more powerful than the current AWM’s. Good news for the snipers while unpleasant for the rest.
New Vehicle: ATV
An all-terrain vehicle or ATV is another great vehicle to ride. It will provide a similar service to the current Buggy. The top speed of this two-seater is unknown till now. Players sitting in the back will be able to use AR Rifles. This will be a great addition to riding on bumpy roads in Miramar.
When almost every common type of vehicle is available in PUBG Mobile or BGMI, the bicycle couldn’t wait to get rolling on the maps. However, there’s no confirmation of whether this will come into the mobile version or not.
However, PUBG PC has introduced it recently. The bicycle will be foldable and players can carry it in their bags. It will be a great transport to move quietly. However, the speed of it may not please the players as it can be seen on PUBG PC.
So far, players can use emotes alone or separately with their teammates or squad members. But this upcoming feature will allow using emotes with everyone. A new way of having fun or even, making alliances! But we’ll watch the use of this feature mostly in the pre-match lobby as things have panned out so far.
Emergency Pick Up feature
We all know the famous scene from The Dark Knight Rises movie where Batman kidnapped Lau using technology that allows him to grapple to a plane. Named as Emergency Pick Up, this feature is expected to come in the 1.9.0 update and going to be one of the most exciting features in the game.
Players will have to collect the emergency pick-up backpack through loots to use it. A plane will carry the player and drop him/her in the middle of the zone. Once it becomes available in the game, we will be able to explore more of it.
Self Revive Kit
The self revives kit will help players to revive by themselves. So, the last member of a squad, anyone playing solo, or situations where teammates are far and couldn’t come to revive if the player has the kit, won’t be finished directly. Moreover, this kit will be tough to find because of the advantage it provides to players in the game.
Part 2 of the Dev Talk social event confirmed that Cheer Park in PUBG Mobile or BGMI will get a major revamp. We may see many fun features, training content in Cheer Park. Race tracks, shooting ranges, 1v1 competitive matches, etc. are on top of the list. Besides, there’s a plan to add more modes though it’s still unknown what type of modes they will be.
8v8 Team Deathmatch mode
The current Team Deathmatch matches are played in 4v4 format. PUBG Mobile or BGMI is going to introduce a massive 8v8 TDM mode where the objective will be to reach 80 kills first. The mode will be playable only in its own unique map, Santorini.
For those who don’t know, Santorini is made after a famous real-life location by the same name. It is a Greek island situated in the Aegean Sea in Europe. Players who’re bored with the existing TDM maps will be delighted because of this. For players who want to know more about this mode, you can read our PUBG Mobile or BGMI 8v8 TDM mode Guide and Tips to get an upper hand when the mode arrives.
Brand new collaboration with Lamborghini
In the past, PUBG Mobile or BGMI has collaborated with famous car brands like McLaren, and Koenigsegg. Now, the game is going to bring a new brand to the game to provide a chance to drive cars made by Lamborghini.
Similar to the previous collaborations, these cars will also be available via lucky-spin. Besides, another cost-cutting model of Lamborghini will be introduced which players can claim via completing missions in events. There’s no confirmation though.
All the information provided here is from leaks and is subjected to changes, so take all of this with a grain of salt. However, from the looks of it, version 1.9.0 seems very impressive, with the highly anticipated arrival of new features. Not only that there will be quite a lot of quality of life updates that were requested for a long time by the players.
