Hours after the first Minecraft: Java Edition snapshot of 2022 was released on Thursday, Mojang Studios also dropped Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 18.104.22.168, a minor release that incorporates a handful of additional fixes and improvements into the legendary creative sandbox survival game, with no new features or major changes. The beta is available now to interested players on Xbox, Windows, and Android devices.
The latest Minecraft beta still targets the Caves and Cliffs Update, and doesn’t feature any interesting experimental additions like the previous Minecraft beta. Still, there are some solid improvements here for reducing crashes and improving touch input when playing on Nintendo Switch.
Minecraft is one of the greatest games ever made, and holds on to its title as one of the best Xbox games by continually evolving with new features and content. The Wild Update is the next major content update for Minecraft, and will add a ton of new features to the Overworld like frogs, The Deep Dark biome, and much more. The update is expected to release at some point in 2022.
